Both Spider-Man and Black Panther have pretended to be Daredevil several times to throw people off Matt's scent. And while Matt was in prison, his friend and teammate Iron Fist was hired to patrol the streets and pretend to be Daredevil in his stead.

Jack was killed outside of the Olympic on orders from a man he had once worked because he was supposed to have thrown the fight.

Daredevil was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with an unspecified amount of input from Jack Kirby.
