The Hulkbusters were a unit of the United States Armed Forces, consisting of both U.S. Army and Air Force personnel, deployed by General Thaddeus Ross to eliminate the Hulk threat. They wore enhanced armor created by Stark Industries.

Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #1 (May 1962).
