SKYFALL TRIVIA II

11) Where does Bond meet the new Q?

Bond meets with Q at the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square to get his equipment and ticket to Shanghai. They briefly discuss The Fighting Temeraire tugged to her last Berth to be broken up, an 1838 painting by English artist J.M.W. Turner.

12) What equipment does Q issue Bond in Skyfall?

BOND: A gun and a radio. Not exactly Christmas, is it?
Q: Were you expecting an exploding pen? We don't really go in for that anymore.

13) Who does Patrice assassinate in Shanghai?

Naz Husein is one of the five undercover agents whose cover was blown when Silva shared their true identities on a YouTube video.

14) What does 007 find in Patrice's sniper case?

Searching the assassin's equipment, Bond finds a gambling chip, which leads him to a casino in Macau, where he is paid €4 million for the kill.

15) How does Bond deduce Sévérine's past?

Recognising her tattoo, he concludes she was a sex slave "rescued" by a criminal who now employs her, a man Bond wishes to meet.

16) What animal saves Bond's life the Macau casino?

After falling into a pit of komodo dragons, 007 fights one of Silva's thugs who manages to grab Bond's gun. Fortunately, Q has equipped him with a firearm that requires fingerprint activation. As the puzzled thug tries to fire the weapon, a komodo dragon rushes from the shadows, grabs him by the leg and drags him away, presumably for a quick dinner.

17) What kind of animal infested Silva's grandmother's island?

SILVA: My grandmother had an island. Nothing to boast of. You could walk around it in an hour. But still, it was, it was a paradise for us. One summer, we went for a visit and discovered the place had been infested with rats. They'd come on a fishing boat and gorged themselves on coconut. So how do you get rats off an island? Hmm? My grandmother showed me. We buried an oil drum and hinged the lid, then wired coconut to the lid as bait. And the rats would come for the coconut and ... they would fall into the drum. And after a month, you have trapped all the rats. But what do you do then? Throw the drum into the ocean? Burn it? No. You just leave it. And they begin to get hungry. And one by one ... they start eating each other until there are only two left. The two survivors. And then what? Do you kill them? No. You take them and release them into the trees. But now they don't eat coconut anymore. Now they only eat rat.

18) What does Bond try to shoot off of Sévérine's head?

Following Silva's interrogation, Bond is taken outside to find Sévérine bloodied and bound to a collapsed statue. After carefully placing a shot glass of scotch on her head, Silva hands Bond an antique percussion-cap pistol and challenges him to shoot the glass off her head--a sadistic opportunity to improve his recent, sub-par marksmanship scores. Bond misses, but Silva shoots her squarely in the head, killing her.

19) What left Silva permanently disfigured?

After being captured by the Chinese, Silva attempted to take his own life using a hydrogen cyanide implant in one of his molars, but the suicide attempt failed, leaving Silva with a horrifically damaged upper jaw and decaying gums and teeth that force him to wear a prosthesis to speak and breathe properly.

20) How does Silva disguise himself after escaping MI6?

Pursued by Bond through the London Underground tunnel system, Silva adopts the disguise of a policeman.
