In 2009, Chesney began filming football interviews for his new single "The Boys of Fall". After shooting footage of friend and New Orleans Saints' coach Sean Payton at his high school alma mater, Chesney decided to expand the video into a full-fledged documentary film, depicting how those who do not go on to long, storied careers in the NFL--like high school wide receiver Chesney--still profit from the lessons learned on the football field.
"Up all night and we were feelin' so good
Yeah, we got a little higher than we probably should
We were in a hotel singin' in the hallway lights
We were strikin' the matches right down to the ashes
Setting the world on fire, setting the world on fire"
Chesney told Taste of Country that he wasn't searching for another Grace Potter duet, but when he finished writing "Wild Child", he knew it was unavoidable. "When you write about women, the best place to start is their spirit, and there's not a woman that has a better free spirit than Grace Potter."
In "Out Last Night", Chesney sings:
"When I got a few drinks in me
I was a doctor, a lawyer, a senator's son
Brad Pitt's brother and a man on the run
Anything I thought would get the job done"
