Unlike Strange, Dormammu has no power over time since the Dark Dimension is a place beyond time. Trying to convince him to break the time loop, Dormammu notes that Strange will spend eternity dying in agony, but Strange insists it is a price worth paying to protect everyone on Earth.

Disgusted by Strange and the Ancient One's disregard for the consequences of defying nature, Mordo severs all ties to Kamar-Taj and leaves the Masters of the Mystic Arts, noting that the bill will come due for them all, as it always does.

Doctor Strange offers to help Thor locate his father Odin. During their meeting, Strange turns Thor's cup of tea into a large mug of beer that magically refills itself, much to the Asgardian's delight.
