In a pre-titles "mini-adventure," 007 infiltrates a drug lord's production plant wearing a wet suit and a rubber duck on his head, ostensibly because it provides cover.

After setting several barrels of nitroglycerin to explode, Bond rushes outside and tears off his wetsuit to reveal an immaculate white tuxedo. Retiring to the nightclub, he is unperturbed as the nearby plant explodes.

BOND: Shocking. Positively shocking.

Shirley Bassey is well known both for her powerful voice and for recording the theme songs to the James Bond films Goldfinger (1964), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), and Moonraker (1979).

Bond discovers Goldfinger is cheating at gin rummy with the help of his employee, Jill Masterson, who is watching the game through a telescope. Bond distracts Jill and blackmails Goldfinger into losing.

Jill suffers the most iconic Bond Girl death of all: she is covered in gold paint and dies by skin suffocation.

The most famous Bond car of all, this Aston Martin DB5 came with all the usual Q-Branch refinements which have been copied from movie to movie including bulletproof panels, oil slick, smoke screen, machine guns, rotating license plates, telescoping tire slashers, tracer-receiving console and most famously, the passenger ejector seat.

Bond arranges to meet Goldfinger socially at his country club in Kent, and they play a round of golf with a World War II era Nazi gold bar (lent to him by MI6 for the mission) at stake. Aware of Bond's ulterior motives, Goldfinger, warns 007 not to interfere in his affairs.

Oddjob is Goldfinger's Korean bodyguard, enforcer, and golf caddy.

As a warning, Oddjob uses his razor-rimmed throwing hat to decapitate one of the country club's marble statues. He later uses it to kill Jill Masterson's sister.
