Samson and Phillip are out riding when Phillip is enchanted by Aurora's beautiful voice and sets out to investigate. Samson is initially against the idea, but Phillip convinces him to go along with the promise of an extra bag of oats.

The fairies help Phillip escape from Maleficent and arm him with the magical Sword of Truth and the Shield of Virtue.

Flora and Merryweather argue over the color of Aurora's ball gown, magically changing it from blue to pink at the end of the film as the happy couple dances.
