In spite of an injury that forced him to miss part of the Golden Knights' inaugural season, David Perron recorded a career-high 50 assists and 66 points as the Golden Knights qualified for the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs. When asked about the expansion team's success, Perron replied that "every guy in our room has a chip on his shoulder ... and every time we step on the ice it's a fight to prove our worth."
