Back in college, Brooke majored in chemistry. This came in handy when she went to work at Forrester Creations in their Research & Development department. Her claim to fame was developing the anti-wrinkle formula BeLieF -- a big leap from her previous job as a caterer.

Stephanie's lung cancer diagnosis played a central role in the series. The character died of the disease on November 26, 2012.
